Market Facilitation Index (MFI)
Created by Bill Williams this indicator shows the change of price for one tick.
When MFI goes up and volume does too (A Green Bar):
Indicates that there are more traders trading. And that these traders buy with the trend.
This signals that the trend movement is beginning to accelerate.
When Market Facilitation Index drops and Volume drops too (A Brown Bar):
Indicates that traders are stopping trading.
When MFI rises but Volume falls (A Blue Bar):
Only speculators are now trading and making the price change.
When Market Facilitation Index drops and the Volume rises (A Pink Bar):
Both buyers and sellers are actively buying and selling. And thus price remains equal. Until there is a breakout in a certain direction the battle between the bears and the bulls will continue.
Subtract the lowest bar price from the highest bar price and divide it by the volume.
Range * (High - Low) / Volume
