SOS, need advice on Trend Reversal.

Hello there, although I have been trying to recognize the sign like Double Top/bottom, Head and Shoulder... yet I am always having trouble seeing the signals. I am having a few positions that as soon as I entered, the trend change, very frustrated!!! Can anyone please offer some hints.

It is difficult for me to know what you are doing, to understand your question. It seems that you are using those patterns to determine that a trend has reversed? And then the trade goes against you, so the trend has not reversed?

You may be entering the trade too soon. Those patterns are easy to determine after the fact, but difficult to trade in real-time. Since price never goes in a straight line, there are often times when you feel a trade is going against you when actually the trend is still under way.

Here are three suggestions;
a) Use a different trend tool/indicator.
b) Do not enter the trade until after there is confirmation, when the new trend is obvious.
c) Allow more room for the trade to go against you, allow a more distant stop (within your risk tolerance of course).

If this doesn't answer your question, please post some more information.
