In Forex Trade if you choose to buy or sell a currency your trade will be open, the price for the 2 currencies will keep changing till the trade is closed in a specific price:
-manually by you
- by another person who manages your account
- automatically

Please visit this page to find out more terms or/and watch the video.

An open trade is a trade being executed by a trader, to buy first or to sell first. An open trade is a trade that is expose to market flucuations and risk. After a trader opens a buy position and when the trader wants to liquiduate the open position, he will have to execute a close sell; likewise an open sell requires a close buy to offset.
