I received an email from something called Currency Trading Beta
by Jack Crooks.
Claims to have a 76% winning strategy and he furnishes all the info for
you to make the forex trades. Only accepts 487 "beta testers" and the
cost is $2500.00 a year (ouch!).
Anyone familiar with this guy or his service.
I currently trade only stocks, but have traded futures in the past,never
currency.

Did you ever get any inforamtion on Jack Crooks, My father gave me information and I am trying to get all the info I can on this 487 beta tester thing

Havent heard of any such brokers.

Well i did some research on crooks and it seems He is mostly considered dubious. Even his system is not considered very impressive by most of the pros. So he's not very recommeneded by most.

A bunch of traders at zulutrade have 80%-100% winning trade but i won't call them guru. More like "Margin Call-er"

	Margin The deposit required to open or maintain a position. Margin can be either "free" or "used". Used margin is that amount which is being used to maintain an open position, whereas free margin is the amount available to open new positions. With a $1,000 margin balance in your account and a 1% margin requirement to open a position, you can buy or sell a position worth up to a notional $100,000. This allows a trader to leverage his account by up to 100 times or a leverage ratio of 100:1. If a trader's account falls below the minimum amount required to maintain an open position, he will receive a "margin call" requiring him to either add more money into his or her account or to close the open position. Most brokers will automatically close a trade when the margin balance falls below the amount required to keep it open. The amount required to maintain an open position is dependent on the broker and could be 50% of the original margin required to open the trade.

Hi there,

I dont trust of any such recommendations as these people are not registered and may be they can lead us to serious errors in future. therefore i think only after verifying it so much people should follow these tips and updates.

Yeah I agree, but the moment to built the own strategy is gotten after a long time of preparation, I mean to find a strategy that really makes you win pips.

I made the big mistake of subscribing to the Crooks philosophy and it's been a major mistake. I was doing just fine, but I thought that this was something that would add a little talent to the currency side of things. Crooks has been wrong 90% of the time in the last six months and it has cost his readers thousands. He stays with the same philosophy regardless of conditions or dismal returns. I paid the price for listening to him and so, unfortunately, have many others. Going to a crooked casino would have been a better choice than going to Jack Crooks.

I am going to do my best to learn how to trade because even I would have a tough time losing the money that Crooks has lost for me so far.
